Altar Servers:Open to youth in 6th grade and up who are willing to serve God and help out the Priest and Deacon during Mass. Serve as scheduled, once a month, or as needed. Contact: Deacon Andy Geisz at GeiszA@adw.org or (240) 298-2132

Aramatheans: People who are willing and able to serve at funerals. Training provided for serving at the altar, and requested when someone passes away. This is a great ministry of service to families ho have lost a loved one. Occasionally serve to read or serve as a Eucharistic Minister at the funeral. Contact: Father Ken at (410) 326-3535

Cantors (Song Leaders): People with voices who are not afraid to lead, are familiar with Liturgy, and love music. Cantors greet the congregation, introduce the Liturgy, and post hymn numbers on boards before Mass. Time required includes rehearsals, Masses, and bi-monthly liturgy meetings to select music for upcoming Masses. Contact: Carolyn Keefe (410) 326-4149

Choir: Choir members should be able to sing on pitch, work with others, and commit to practice two hours on Wednesday evenings. Will sing at Masses once a month from September-June. Contact: Georgia Harvey at keyofgmh@gmail.com

Church Cleaners:Clean the Parish Church or the Historic Church. Each person is given a specific assignment as part of a team, usually 3-4 members. The Historic Church is once/month, and the Parish Church bi-monthly. Supplies provided. Great opportunity for a family to serve together. Contact: Jean Moyer (410) 326-3084 or gnmoyer@gmail.com

Greeters: Greet people by holding the doors and serve as a warm and welcoming presence to all who join us for weekend Masses. Serve once or twice/month at the Mass you attend. Warm and welcoming demeanor needed. Contact: Dee Hoofnagle (410) 326-3170 or dzhoofnagle@comcast.net

Lectors: Proclaim the Scriptures of the Eucharistic Celebrations, both daily and at weekend Masses, by sharing your reading of the Bible with faith and devotion. Volunteers must have a clear and loud voice, willingness to grow in proclamation of the Word, and willingness to serve when needed. Contact: Joe Suarez-Murias at joersuarezmurias@icloud.com

Live Nativity Scene: Families are needed who will portray the Holy Family in the Live Nativity Scene in front of the Historic Church during the Solomons Christmas Walk in early December. Costumes provided. Contact: Jean Moyer (410) 326-3084 or gnjmoyer@gmail.com

Musicians & Instrumentalists: Join others by playing at Masses. Organ and piano provided, or play your own instrument and share your musical talents with our congregation. Rehearse with Cantors before Mass, and play during Mass. Contact: Carolyn Keefe (410) 326-4149 

Spirit and Life Prayer GroupMeets Tuesdays from 7:30-8:45pm for shared prayer and petition. Members should be open to the Spirit, and happy to share his presence in their lives. Contact Joe Hamilton (410) 326-4054 or joeh2@comcast.net

Ushers: Assist parishioners and guests before, during, and after Masses. Take up collections, select families to bring forward offertory gifts, guide at communion time. Ushers are asked to start 10 minutes before Mass begins, and 10 minutes after Mass finishes. May assist with any medical assistance needed. Contact: Joe Suarez-Murias at (240) 298-2132

Wash Linens: People who can wash and iron the linens used at Mass. Guidance offered on how to do this. The amount of time required is not great, but is recurring. Can be done at your own home at your schedule. Contact: Mary Lou Baldwin (410) 326-2455

Women of WorshipBe part of a team that prepares a women's morning of reflection each year during Lent. Help with advertising, set up, clean up, and serving for this one-day event. Meet once/month or as needed from October-March. Contact: Nancy Scott at nansago@comcast.net or (410) 495-858
